Journal entry:
dear people of the world
Today we are traveling to Indepence rock. We had to go up a big
hill today my dad said that it was about two miles.
Someone falls off their horse here just about every day but nobody
gets hurt. It was really windy today.
My brothers tried to get a bath in the river but it is muddy water.
We all climbed on Indepence rock it is a big granite rock it got
its name because a group of fur trappers spent the night there on
the forth of july and celebrated they wrote Indepence rock on it
alot of pioneers wrote their names up their and some people found
their ancestors names we didn't though.
It was a fun night. When we were going to bed a girl had an asthma
attack and they had a helicopter come and help her it was pretty
exciting. I thought I heard a rattle snake too while I was up there.
Well this is Daniel George Whitaker at Independence rock in Wyoming.
Ps did I tell you that the misquitos are thick thick thick
