Summary: A short day. Push-ups.

Journal entry: Dear People of the World
Today was a short day. A 4 miles parade through the town of North Platte. We didn't get up until 8AM and then left camp at 9:30. We had some people from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints riding in different wagons. They had a special meeting with us and gave our wagon train a blessing. It was neat.

The army set up showers for us. They had a contest of who can do the most pushups and I did 100 good ones. danny
