Summary: Mormon Batallion will get counsel.

Journal entry: Thursday. Elder Amasa Lyman was delegated by the Council to visit the detachments of the battalion at Pueblo and Santa Fe and give them such counsel as the Spirit of wisdom should dictate. Elders Woolsey, Tippets, and Stevens accompany Elder Lyman. These brethren were blessed and started this afternoon. The wagons were ferried over the river.
