Journal entry: Dear people of the world
Today I walked 18 miles on the actual trail it was quit a hard day
with lots hills and dust you could hardly open your eyes cause it
would hurt. I caught a meadow lark on the trail he was a squirmy
little bird. At lunch we saw Cache cave which is where mountain
men and pioneers used to store there stuff there were lots of names
and dates there.
I found some large poop and a small tunnel and I went on top and
there was a hole on top.
I am trying to sell an old horse shoe that my brother found on
the trail someone said that it is a juainta phonex, one of the first
comercial horse shoes.
A guy fell off his horse today when his saddle slipped off.
Well this is Dan camped once again by I-80 in a field that is owned
by Castle Rock ranch.
