Hosea Stout Journals

February 19, 1848

Summary: Stout goes to council to rule on an unlawful dance.

Journal entry: Sat Feb. 19th 1848. Occupied at exchanging corn for the police. Went to Council Trial for Langley V. S. Dayton. D. Russel who had an unlawful dance tonight & several of the police went to stop it, but with Bp. Clark there it ended.
