95:56:45W Currently the site of Florence, Nebraska, Winter Quarters
was settled in September, 1846 as a temporary resting place for
the pioneers. It is located just west of the Missouri river in Nebraska.
Summary: Thursday.
Journal entry: In the mor. met sis. Chase at Clarissa's--blest
her little daughter which was born last tu. told Harriet she would
get the gift of interpretation in the eve. In the aftn. call'd at
sis. Woodru[torn page] Priscinda's & went to br. Moor's where sis
Whit.'s girls met, sent for Zina Harriet came with her. Sis. Richards
Rhoda, Emeline, Anna, & one of sis. M's daughters spoke in the gift
for the first time. Took supper with S. Ann, while there Lucy W.
came in--she receiv'd the gift We then went into sis. K's--Helen
Genet, Harriet S. sis. K. spoke for the first time in
the gift of tongues--H. Cook interpreted.
