Pioneer: Harriet Tubman (Ashley - 4th Grade)

Meet Harriet Tubman who escaped frm being a slave and went North. She escaped on an Underground Railroad. It was hard. She had to hide. The people who had her for a slave came after her. She went back to the South to free other slaves. Harriet showed the slaves the Underground Railroad. She had to disguise herself. She took the slaves to Philadelphia and then went to Canada with the slaves. I chose Harriet Tubman because she showed a lot of courage.
