Journal entry: Dear People of the World
Today we traveled 14 miles to Lexington Nebraska. When we left camp we put the wagons five accross because that is what the pioneers did when they were trying to scare the Indians. Also James one of the walkers found two bunnies which is what they did also.

Today they told us that there were brush fires 150 years ago and today they were burning ditches so it looked like that could be true today. Today I walked with the handcarts until about 10 AM and then I went to Glens wagon to tell children about the web site.

We are at a small town but they do have a Dairy Queen so I can't wait to get some ice cream. They are throwing more people in the trough today and so everyone is getting wet. Well tomarrow all you moms have a great day you deserve it.

See you on Monday Dan at the fairgrounds in Lexington Nebraska
