On behalf of all Heritage Gateway readers, I express thanks to Brea Cornell and Margaret Clark, and BC, Danny, Wendy, Amy, and all others who have kindly shared their experiences with us. We, who wish to but cannot join in the whole journey, feel the heart beat of this remarkable pilgrimage through you. Also, a very special thank you to the organizers, trail-masters, leaders, caterers, and those kind and dedicated people who provide us with water and potties.

Even though we've only been on a week, it's with tears in our eyes that we leave for home. The people here are dear, dear friends now. We hate to leave you, and this country. The experience, however, will always be with us. We've shared dust, pain, disappointment, joy, labor, fun, and [feelings].

Thank you all for a lifelong dream come true.
