Summary: Rainy, hot, and windy weather.
Journal entry: Tuesday. Travelled about eighteen miles in a southerly direction and encamped at Praire Creek. Afternoon, thermometer 86 degrees in the shade. Thunder and lightning with very high wind and shower of rain.
