Summary: Walking and ticks.

Journal entry: Dear People of the World,
Today we traveled 17 miles to Overton. This morning was very very cold but after the sun came up it warmed up alot. I started out walking today but didn't last very long. I got in Glens wagon and told some 10 and 11 year old girls about writing on this web page. It was kind of fun and one of them gave me a big snickers, yum.

One of the ladies in the wagon I was in found a tick on her at lunch and my friends found three on him.

I had fun last night I didn't get back to camp until 9:30. Today is Ken Smiths birthday in England Happy Birthday Ken we all love you. We got come mail on the trail today from my brother, sister, and Linda Duncan, my mom said that made her day.

I made my mom a present for Mothers Day it was a necklace and bracelet from yarn. We get to shower tonight at the high school I hope that it isn't too cold. I have made some good friends out here. Well I hope all you moms out there have a Happy Mothers day.

From Dan out in field in Overton Nebraska.
