Journal entry: Saturday. A brush bowery of 40 by 28 feet made by the battalion brethren.
Col. markham reported that thirteen plows and three harrows had been stocked during the past week, three lots of ground broken up, one lot of 35 acres planted in corn, oats, buckwheat, potatoes, beans, and garden seed.
