Journal entry: DEAR PEOPLE OF THE WORLD
I RODE IN A WAGON WITH MY GRANDPA AND GRANDMA EVANS WE WERE COMING DOWN ECHO CANYON IT WAS 24 MILES. WE SAW ALOT OF BAT CAVES WHEN WE WERE COMING DOWN THE CANYON. I RODE WITH GLEN NELSON FOR THE FIRST PART OF THE DAY AND THEN WHEN I PASSES THE WALKERS THEY BEGGED ME TO COME WITH THEM SO I ENDED UP WALKING THE REST OF THE WAY OR ABOUT 10 MILES. YOU KNOW WHY THEY CALL IT ECHO CANYON IT IS BECAUSE YOU CAN HEAR THE CANYON ECHO AS YOU COME DOWN IT. THERE WAS A DANCE TONIGHT AND I WENT CROWD SURFING IT WAS PRETTY COOL. IT WAS PRETTY HOT TODAY AND NOT MUCH OF A BREEZE. WE CAME INTO HENEFER TODAY I WAS HOT AND TIRED AND THE PEOPLE OF HENEFER WERE LINING THE STREET IT WAS PRETTY COOL TO HEAR THEM SAY WELCOME HOME. WELL THIS IS DAN IN A CUT FIELD OF ALFALFA IN HENEFER
