Pioneer: John Thomas Lazenby (Rachel - 4th Grade)Meet my great, great, great grandfather, John Thomas Lazenby. He was born on October 8, 1836 in England. He was married in August 1863. After his wife died, he brought his young son to America in 1868. He came to Utah and settled in Wayne County. John remarried and had 9 more children. He was one of Utah's great pioneers. He had a lot of courage and made many sacrifices. I'm glad he came to Utah or I probably wouldn't be here.
