Trains Across the PlainsMay 28, 1997

Name: Trains Across the Plains

Location: Oshkosh, Nebraska

Description:
Modern trekkers hear trains day and night as they cross the Nebraska plains but the original pioneers didn't because railroads didn't come until about 20 years later. Railways followed the Mormon Trail because it provided the most passable routes.
