Pioneer: Annie Bosomworth (Amber - 4th Grade)

Annie was my great, great grandma. She was born in 1860, and died in 1958 at the age of 98. She had seven children and outlived six of them.

When Annie was a little girl, in 1864, she went to the train station and saw Abraham Lincoln in his campaign for President. She lived through being struck by lightning.

She mended clothes for a living, and had no home of her own. She would live with one relative for about three weeks then move to another relative's home. She was a pioneer.
