Pioneer: Levi Savage Jr. (Jessica - 4th Grade)

I would like you to meet my great, great, great grandfather Levi Savage Jr. He was born on March 23, 1820 and died December 13, 1916. He was born in Greenfield, Huron County, Ohio. He was a pioneer in 1847. He was just behind Brigham Young. When he first crossed the plains he was about 16 to 17 years old. He got called on a mission when he was 18. He got to go to Burma. He also was in the army. He crossed the plains two different times. Levi Savage Jr. was courageous, optimistic, adventurous, prepared, and self-reliant. To got to all of the places he went he had to have all the attributes listed above. I picked my third great grandfather because he was a great pioneer.
