Pioneer: John Hudson (Nicole - 4th Grade)

John Hudson was an Englishman. He first came to New York, then he came to Utah from 1848 to 1850. He was on his way to California but became ill and stopped in Utah. While in Utah he explored the Great Salt Lake. I chose John Hudson because he sounded interesting. I read about him in the book, A Forty Niner in Utah, John Hudson.
